i received this months issue of HT,as im sure most of you did.and i noticed on the "new product" page, circuithero.com has a new shifter extension for us honda guys.ive seen tall shifters in race cars and couldnt help notice richard hammond and jeremy clarkston test driving some of the fastest cars in the world with tall shifters, made to come closer to the steering wheel for easy reach.circuithero.com sells their 3" extension for almost $40.i didnt want to pay that much for a little rod i may not be happy with,so i went to ebay to try to find a used one or just a cheaper version.i found one made by summit engineering for less then $14 shipped! i installed it today and drove for about an hour, just out and about.like the $40 piece it is also 3" and it really makes shifting easier.it makes the throw of my short throw shifter longer, obviously.but without a weighted shift knob its still really easy to shift and way worth the money.just thought id drop some knowledge that might help a fellow honda.

Yeah Matt has one of those Circuit Hero extenders..if I were to get one, I'd probably buy what you bought. Is that company the same or part of Summit Racing?

The first thing I noticed was the name, but their not the same. I checked summitracing.com and they didn't have one. It was worth the 14 bucks,I got it in 3 days
