Ebay Coilovers

Drifter3000

Integra FTW!
Im looking for instant gratification right now and I can't afford real coilovers, so Im going to buy a really cheap pair. I want to know what I lose from my stock springs to the new coilovers. I know the ride quality is going to be shit. But what about performance? Will the cheap coilovers still be better than the stock springs?

You can afford quality coilovers right now correct?

Here are some tips:

1) Be patient
2) Save up

rule of thumb, dont buy stuff off ebay, unless you KNOW its legit and not a knock off

I assume you're talking about the coilover sleeves? A couple of my friends with Civics are running cheapo eBay coils and they have worked pretty decently. No, they won't perform as good as real nice springs or coilovers but they will make it lower.

When my friend bought his teg, the guy before him had WeaponR sleeves on the stock shocks and they were TERRIBLE. Ebay sleeves will only be worse. Save up for some adjustable full coilovers from a good company.

No no no. Please no. You will be better off keeping it stock for now.
Just save up your money. Check out the function and form (http://www.f2autolife.com/) coilovers. I'm going to be getting some type I's pretty soon on my teg. They are pretty reasonably priced too.

I got sum skunk 2 springs of sum site for 100 bucks new. Thats ur best bet for going cheap go just springs. And handling will be improved. How about a camber kit too?

If you go to low without a camber kit, your be putting new tires on every 6 months.

your talking about saving money... this is throwing it away... but i mean if your gonna cheap out, atleast spend a lil more and get the "name brand" ones... i would go with the first set.
