Ebay chip problem

soo the guy who had my DA before me, a good family friend, put an ebay small resistor chip on my car... what does this do and how does it affect my car? pros? cons?

If it's off ebay, it's most likely worthless shit.
Get a real tune done on the car. A street tune isn't as good as a dyno tune, but it's better than a generic ebay chip.
At the least, go to a local tuner and ask them to burn you a basemap for your particular motor.

ok, if i take out small resistor do i have to put anything back in that place? or just take it out?
