Drivers Window

Searched up the forums for this problem but couldnt fine any info.
Im driving an 89 ls and my drivers side window handle just went loose, cant open the window nor close it,
just wondering if its something that i can fix on my own. planning on opening up the door tomorrow. just trying to get some input, or a heads up if the window comes crashing down if and when i open it

you will have to pop the door panel off to see what is going on.

hopefully the handle just came loose... otherwise on older roll down windows the gear the handle attaches to can get worn and need replacing.
