Drivers Side Door

I have a 95 teg and i was wondering if the driver side door needs to be locked with the key, because that is how i have to do it and i used to have a 92 teg and it was the same thing. Me and my friend installed a viper alarm system on my teg and the drivers side door only locks once in a while with the keypad. So i was wondering if i should get a new lock for my door or what?

Yeah I think all tegs are like that stock. Cause mine was like that. I ended up having to install a keyless entry system so that way I can lock my door without a key. I got a system from circuit city for like 65 or 70 bucks. It wasn't that bad.

no i can lock mine with the door open.. honda usual.. if you hold the driver side door handle open and hit the button it will lock.. but mine i took the door apart lubed it up and now it works perfect, without the handle being used.. they can get corroded a bit.. check it out.
