Drivability issue, loss of power

On my beater 'teg (i have 2 '00 LS's) i have just encountered a problem and have searched but haven't found much. While cruising about 40 mph (4th gear) the motor will loose power, as if i had lifted my foot off the accelerator. If i down shift and hit the gas it will go like normal, or if i floor it in 4th it will take off like normal. Of course this happened several times the other night, i tried cruising in 3rd and the same thing happens. I have seen that it could possibly be a dizzy problem or maybe even a tps problem (although i looked for one at the local parts store and they can't get it). I just wanted to see what you guy's think it may be. Just a few days before i removed the AEM intake and replaced it with the stock box and it was driving normal.

82K miles, tune-up was 3k miles ago, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter. DC sport 4-1 header, stock cat, BC spec II exhaust and factory intake

I have to work a 12 hr shift tomorrow so my lil bro is going to reset the ecu and see if that will cure anything.

Did you try a new distributor yet? Same thing happened to me, but on my Accord, came to find out it was my distributor so I replaced the whole sparks plug, wires, and all. Or can it be something else like a faulty fuel pump?
