This is my first integra 90 manual transmission. What is the large flush plug that takes a 3/8 ratchet behind the front of the passenger side tire? I found the tranny drain plug and changed that but could find no info on this other plug. Any help is appreciated thanks

I could be wrong but i thought the drain was on the back of the tranny by the cv? That also took a 3/8 ratchet and the fill for the tranny was above that and took a 17mm wrench.

There is a 1/2 inch drive plug that gives access to the C-clip holding the bearing on the gear shaft in place. This is for separating the case.

The 3/8in drive plug is for the drain.

No problem, you gotta be careful what plugs you pull out of transmissions.

I took out what I thought was the drain on my Mazda the first time and it ended up being the plug for the detent ball and spring. Freaking out chasing stuff around hoping nothing fell out of place
