Drag racing in NW Florida

Ive gone out to the Emerald Coast Dragway on friday nights twice since I finished my build and found that my transmission couldnt keep up the firs night I had it at the track. It locks me out of 2nd and 3rd gear over 7000. But thats not what this post is about.

I just wanted to say even though it wont shift worth a damn I had a great time. I used to run my stock ls on a 75 shot with Exhaust, Intake, Header. I got the car down to 9 flat. Now with the built motor my best time has been 9.4 @ 80 mph. I figured out where to shift the car and had a good time.

Now the car is an LSvtec with an Eagle lighweight crank, eagle rods, Arias pistons, I/h/e/, Crap coilovers, Silicone filled motor mounts, Full Race Traction Bar, Apexi AFC, Ohh and the little 100 shot of Nitrous from NOS.

I need a little help on how to adjust the traction bar to make the rest of the wheel hop go away. Im running Hanook Ventus HHR's at 215/40r/16. On Motegi RT5's 16's.. I know the wheels are probably killing me so im saving for some lighweight drag rims w/slicks.

Thanks every one
