Downshifting problem...

i have a 91 Da with a 93 motor in it, when ever im driving lets say in fifth gear , and im making a left turn so i go to neutral and go to 3rd gear once i press the gas pedal it takes off then the car hiccups ..lik it doesnt want to take off but then it jumps and drives fine ..it does it only when im downshifting to any gear..i think its the o2 sensor cuz i know theres was a point in time when i was driving to work i noticed it was doin that alot not only in downshifting but regular driving so i pulled over and i say that the o2 sensor was diconnected once plugged in it ran fine..plz help me

hmm... not so sure the o2 would cause that... but thats just a weakly educated guess. Possibly the clutch going out? but then it should do that when shifting into higher gears too... hmm....
