door lock help

got pictures? have you tried operating it with the door panel off, so you can watch the rods all work? assuming everything is connected properly, the other thing is the positioning of the actuator, if it's too far out it wont lock properly and vice versa.

you are tryin to lock the door while its closed right. take the other door panel apart and check that one out

With the door lock actuator plugged in and not connect it works fine and flips like it should. When I put in the door and put the screws in will put the door in the lock position but won't flip it back like it should. I think there needs to be a linkage to the part pointed to in the picture.
