Door Alignment

what is the easiest method to align the door to the frame of the car? i noticed that when i open the door is drops a bit lower than the side of the car. when i close it slowly it hits the bottom. does anyone have any experience doing this?

haha damn i guess im not the only one. my driver side is starting to piss me off cause its grinding against the fender. sux so bad. even embarrassing when i open the door around a crowd of people. i have to lift the door just so it wont make any screeching noises.

mines on the passanger side. U just gotta close it a little hard for it to close. just doesnt align right.


prolly a bent bolt

and prolly a pain in the ass to fix

well i asked my cousin that had the same problem but he fixed it. he said that he loosened 4 bolts and had someone lift the door to its peak point. then he screwed them tight back. it worked for him but when i try it i dont get close enough.

if your car hasn't been wrecked, then the hinge is probably just alittle tweaked

ive been rear ended, but i dont think theresbeen any door damage

my passenger side door has that problem i gotta see when i get it back on thursday if its still like that.
