I have a 1989 integ rs, drives fine and all up until yesterday. My clutch all of a sudden just went soft, I barely step on the clutch and I can shift gears. It drives but when I put a little gas on it, then it revs up and slowly picks up speed. Its not hard to put it in gear or anything. It just seems like my clutch is stuck somewhere not to sure what it is help..

If it's an 89 there's no fluid, it's a cable clutch. Make sure your cable didn't come loose, you may need to adjust it.

It should look something like this, turn that nut down to increase pressure, you just want it snug.

If it's slipping while it's engaged then your clutch is shot.

Is the cable loose or tight? If the cable is too tight on your clutch arm it will cause a lack of force on the pressure plate. Loosen the nut up so that there's no force being applied to the arm and see if the clutch still slips. If it does your clutch is bad.
