how can i tell what motor i have? its a DOHC vtec? looks to be swapped. what hp specs? what exhaust should i run?
90 on a ls tranny is 4500rpms estit shouldnt be too hard to identify the block, let me know what rpms you're at when you're on the freeway at certain miles per hour and i can tell you if you have a b16 or ls transmission as well
my numbers were correct right? im calculating them off of my head and i believe they are the same gearing as a 94+gsryup usually 80 on a ls tranny is 3.5 And 80 on a b16 transmission is 4.5
i know b16s have shorter gearing just didnt know the reason, i was also talking about the cable ls tranny vs hydro gsri believe the b16 ratios are a little bit shorter, especially for the cable transmissions
B16's need the shorter gears due to their lack of torque
damn maybe he was making his stuff up cause his speedo was brokenpretty sure, because usually ls at 80 is around 3.5 and gsr at 80 is around 4
This sounds right to me, when I had my gsr I remember it was at 3.7 at 70mph. Thank gosh I got a LS now, better gas mileage.pretty sure, because usually ls at 80 is around 3.5 and gsr at 80 is around 4
Seems off to me. 70 is around 3.5 for me and 80 is just under 4.pretty sure, because usually ls at 80 is around 3.5 and gsr at 80 is around 4
