This DIY is for anyone trying to remove the sound insulation in their car. For weight or whatever you want it gone for.
NOTE: Club Integra nor I am responsible for you doing damage to you or your car.
Materials Needed
rubber mallet
paint scraper
bag
dry ice (i suggest at least 7-8 lb for the rear seats back)
screw driver
gloves
NOTE: USE GLOVES WITH DRY ICE IT WILL BURN YOU
Step one:
gut your car take out all the pannels in your car to expose everything. If you have an X bar, take it out too, strong bar is fine to keep in.
Step 2
place dry ice on black tar it will hiss and it will creak, that means its shrinking and coming unglued. Leave it for a few minutes and let it work.
Step 3
Use the scraper or the mallet to start getting pieces of it off
Step 4
i used a bag and a weight to hold the ice over the vertical and curved bits
Step 5
Keep at it :thumbs up just keep repeating eveything, you want pieces to come up in big big big chunks
