I found 2 DIY's on installing a turbo kit on a Integra, but they have no pictures. Are there any good ones out there? Thanks.

Or the OP looked at it 74 times checking for replies before you looked.

You shouldn't need pictures. It's really straight forward. If you don't have the mechanical know how to figure out the intercooler piping goes to the intake, you should probably get a friend to help you.

Just look at pictures of turbo'ed Integra's engine bays.

its all bolt on. Some of the other stuff is a little trickier if you dont have diagrams for wiring and whatnot, such as the 3 bar map sensor, and some of the gauges. Im no expert at that stuff unfortunately. It helps to have friends that know their electronics.

However, almost everything else is straight forward.

Unbolt your header and intake. Figure out how you plan on mounting your intercooler, and start putting everything on. Ill tell you this, you wont get it all on perfectly in 1 shot. s*** will need trimming, or modification usually.

Make sure that the lines you are running that arent AN fittings are teflon taped or youll start leaking oil. If your turbo isnt primed, you can take a screw driver, dip it in oil, and let it run a few drops down the inlet for your feed line, spin the compressor and then the inside of the turbo will be lubricated to prevent it from dry starting.

Having a vacuum block comes in handy for your boost gauge, and lines for your blow off valve and wastegate. If you are running a tial wastegate, run a line off of the side of it and not the top if you arent running an EBC. And zip tie your hoses.

Also having a sandwich plate make things much easier for running lines and oil pressure/temp sensors.

I cant think of anything else other than take your time and have a spare vehicle when stuff doesnt fit or work right.

Here are a few pictures from my progress to give you ideas.

top line there is the feed line coming off the back of the block. If I had to redo it this time around, I would just buy a sandwich plate, like glowshift which is cheap. Saves you from removing the oil pressure sensor.

downpipe had to be extended

Filter for your turbo

I added catch can lines

because I have a half size radiator, ive got space for a custom can up front

tow it to get it tuned

DRIVE IT

Tips of advice

Siliconeintake.com for couplers and T bolts

Tbolt clamps > Worm clamps

Bead rolled intercooler piping is the s***

Make sure all your clamps are tight, nothing more lame than having to retighten them after you blow them on the dyno

dyno without a front bumper in case you do

An extra friend and a few hundred dollars in extra cash always come in handy

do it right the first time, if somethings janky, chances are its gonna need fixing later

Do not just run an open screen for a long time, get a filter and save your turbo from taking in a pebble

DO NOT BEAT ON YOUR CAR TIL ITS TUNED, you will waste all your money if you do.

If you are on a stock map sensor do not plan on running more than 11lbs of pressure through your turbo

Invest in a wideband and oil pressure gauge

Ive seen people try to run without a dumptube, dont do it. youll melt something

If you are shooting for anything less than 550-600whp, run nothing but a STOCK FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR
