So I got my car a few months ago and a little after i decided to replace the stock system in it.
Here's a list of the parts I used:
Head: Alpine CDE-102
Speakers: Alpine SPS-17C Coax
Subs: 2x Kaption 10" CL with factory pre-fab box
Speaker Amp: Kaption 400.4 4 channel 100 Watt RMS per channel
Sub Amp: Alpine MRP-M1000 1000watt RMS at 2 Ohms
Stinger 1 Farad capacitor
Monster Multi-amp 4 GA wiring kit
16 G Speaker wire
The speakers will be upgraded to components in the future but i got these for 64 bucks a pair canadian
so i figured they would work for now.
The Amps:
The Subs/Deck (pardon the dirt)
Things torn up:
Amps installed:
Deck installed:
I also ran new speaker wire to the speakers in the doors, which was a real pain in the ass. I got all the equipment at dealer cost too so that helped a lot, also speaker wire I got free from work. For the Kaption amp i used the stock cardboard spare tire cover as a template, and cut plywood to cover instead and screw the amp to.
