disc brake issue

hey since my rear brakes are disk brakes on the way home tonight i heard a scraping sound as i was almost to a stop and for sum reason i get a crap load of dust from that pad in particualr. i think i needa new pad but i thought id see if anyone else has had an isee like this

It could be a stuck caliper causing the pad to stay pressed against the disc, causing the extra dust. It's happened to my car too.
Next time you do some driving, when your done driving check and see if you feel more heat coming from the wheel the noise is coming from - the friction will create excess heat. When I had a bad front caliper, the pad was pressed to the disc so much I could smell the heat inside the car while I was driving.
