hey sup guyz and gals... 3 month ago... i got my engine rebuilt...my engine been smoking ..... when i start it up in the moring... smoke come out..... when i floored it... got smoke....

tats teh reason why i got it rebuilt so that it wont happen again.. but seems like its still there but not as bad as b4.....

the machine shop i took it to did a bad job....

i did my compression testing and here are the numbers.
each cylinder... did 10 rotation.... looking att eh gauge.. it jump up quick

#s> cyl. 1> 210
cyl.2> 205
cyl.3> 220
cyl.4> 230

i did it twice and same reading

back of my bumper... look like carbon.... i looked through teh spark plug hole... the piston got carb...
cyl. 3> spark plug.. the tip melted or broke....
and the other got white... i think it was too hot...

but i like to know what u guys opinion.....
rings... or the valve seal? thankz

White spark plugs usually symbolize a mixture that is too lean(which causes too much heat). It can also be caused by using a plug heat range that isn't well suited for your engine. As for the smoke, it does sound like a valve seal or the rings. Being as how erradic your compression test numbers are I would guess rings. But I would like a little more details. What did the rebuild consist of? Did they bore or hone the cylinders? Did you get a valve job or atleast replace the valve seals or valve guides?

Of course the carbon deposits in your #3 cylinder could just be the remains of having a fouled plug. How new are the plugs and what are their heat range? It could have just been fouled out and causing an incomplete burn leaving massive carbon deposits and spitting some out the exhaust.

What all do you have done to your car and what is the model number of your plugs?

when i got it rebuilt. it was bored to nex size up 81.5 comp. piston... using nippon piston and rings
and honed....he told me that it have to be bored.. cant be hone......
crank was micro polish...which he told me he did...
the head work> 4 intake valve have to be replace.....new valve seals and guide.. tat i;m not sure...... but those are not oem ..aftermarket...clean the whole head.. no port polish or angel valve job doen... tight on money... needed to run noraml...

if i have to take teh head out again.. i will plan on tat..
3 spark plugs have white on it one is half burnt......
model spark plug>>> bkr6 eix-11

only mod i got is the short ram intake.... stage 3 clutch...9.3mm wires ractive...........add on rear muffler with stock pipe

also juz to mention... its a gsr....
i look at teh compression number.... ls is lil lower then gsr comp....

thankz for your help

with different pistons your going to get a different compression ratio from what it should be stock.

Well your in the right vacinity for your heat range on the plugs. And regardless of the compression ratio, wth new valve seals, valve guides, bored and honed, with new rings you should NOT being having erradic compression numbers or blowby. Much less leaky valve seals. Personally, I would take your compression test numbers to whoever built it and demand an explanation. If the seals were done and he bored and honed it PROPERLY with new rings then this should NOT be an issue. I would bring this to his attention. There is no reason for a freshly built engine to smoke, much less have that much variance in compression results between cylinders

Just please tell me that you didn't do this with the engine in the car

nah... engine was out of teh car.... they hold my engine for the whole week... bcuz piston was not in yet... then they try to put my motor together in a week..

they clean the block and teh head.... resurface the valves and deck the head.... they screw up my head teh first time i put it in... i got pressure build up so qick that my hose was to burst ... so i got it to another shop to redeck.... shop says they did a pretty bad job.... i called them up and he denide and told me he did it for free... tas why its mess up... for free.... i regret taking to them.....

i didnt try to put lil oil in to see if it will raise up the compression.....

but every moring... i start up.. there smoke...for a lil like a minute then it stop.....
but when i floor it.. then there smoke

b4 i got it rebuild.... my car is full of carb and oil.....but after i got it rebuilt.... it look like carb only...washin it out was pretty easy.... b4 that i have to polish it to get it all out..

thankz again....maybe i mite try to do a leak down test...
and planin to put back reg, ngk plugs to see how it goes.....
