Desperate need of a PART!!!!!

Hey everyone, Im new to the site, not so new to my ol' teggy, but I still love her im a few months away from starting my k-swap and complete overhaul on traditional tuning (the rest is a secret, sorry everyone 8) but for the time being, income is a must, thus transport for the poor is a must. still running the stock B18A non-vtec out of the bay, nothing simple about whats been done in there apart from bolt on's

but about 2 months ago, clutch pedal dropped to the floor and wouldnt retun. opened it back up....again... and found that my throwout bearing retaining spring shattered to pieces (the one that pulls the release bearing off of the pressure plate and helps return the release arm and thus the clutch pedal to original position). ive been to multiple dealerships, checked every website under the sun and found that i can get the part for 86-89, and 94+ integras...... BUT NOT 90-93!!!!!!!!

DESPERATE FOR HELP!!!!! $4 DOLLAR PART KEEPING ME FROM MY BABY!!!!!!! anyone got one rat holed away or on lock in someones garage???? I would be most grateful and willing to pay!!!!! PLEASE BE REASONABLE though, im not gonna pay $150 for a rare part when i can change the entire transmition for $250, but i do need to drive, so if $20 incl. ship sounds fair to anyone, I will be waiting

And what year is your car? From what I know, 90-91 are cable, 92-93 are hydro transmissions. That may effect the spring on the inside, but I really dont know.

yep, 90-93 are cable driven, spec is proper, #5 is the elusive snipe i need.....

ive seen pics of 86-89 retaining spring and they look nearly identical, but never personally worked on 86-89, so im in the dark on whether it may work as a substitute, but reliability is a neccessity, and true reliability comes from what you know will work, not what might work now, and cause catastrophic failiure later.

Just call them and ask for price and availability. Most likely the part will be going out of troy ohio or torance cali. I bought one the release spring about two months ago for a buddys when he lost his.

hahaha didnt even see the link! thanks man, but i will be calling them in the morning to check availability, since dealer told me i could get it and then a couple weeks later decided to "spring" on me that they magically could NOT get it.... but thanks everyone, this helps alot!!! hope and rejeuvination on the horizon
