Alright guys my friend has decided to turbo his 96 manual LS coupe. He had a compression check done on it and all cylinders showed 185-190psi. Cars got 107K miles on it, the guy said it is capable of seeing boost. He will be ordering the following parts in a week or two.He is going to be using stock internals and we are looking to get about 200HP if not a bit more for now, he will later get a GSR and swap the kit onto it. How much better is would the T3/T4 hybrid be than the T3? What kind of pwer differences would I see between the 2, running at a stock 7psi boost? Would really appreciate it if I can get any advice on any of the parts, whether a different brand/model is any better/cheaper or if I dont need some of the parts, or even need some more parts. Thank You.

im actually looking into buying the same kit for my integra. Personaly i think if you looking to get about 200hp out of it i would just go with the t3 i think thats what im going to do becuse theres less lag as well compared to a t3/t4. 7psi sounds like a good limit i was thinking around 7 as well no higher then 10 but there are people out there boosting like 15psi on a stock ls but i dont think that would last to long.

yea the lag on the T3 will be less and im not looking for too much power, just something quick, quicker than most other imports on the streets. Yea thats what im thinking, 10 at max.

yeah t3 should be fine then i think it can handle up to 350hp or somthin like that which is most likely more then enough for what your trying to do.
