DB8 vs. DC5 Type S

Happened earlier tonight right after I got out of class. We were at a light. I was on left lane. He was on the right. On the other side of the intersection, the two lanes merge into one... Dun dun dun... The light turns green and I launch. The DC5 starts to move, but his reaction was a tad bit too late. I jump ahead and shift into 2nd and blow a cloud of smoke in his face. I was disappointed. He even inched a little forward before the light turned green. So we weren't evenly lined up. I wished the owner knew how to drive. It would've been more interesting.

Cliff notes:

- Both cars start from a dig
- Both cars launch at the same time
- DC5 hits WOT one second too late
- DB8 passes DC5
- DB8 FTW
- DC5 FTL

He wasn't just driving. First, he inched forward. Secondly, he looked over at me. He clearly wanted to run with me. It was a legitimate challenge.

well clearly. lol okay, so i know a lot of people might be thinking i'm saying stuff because it's you...and i'm me, but i'd say the same thing to anyone, even if it wasn't you.

inching forward and then looking over at you hardly seems like a "legitimate challenge" to me, but i guess you were the one there. my dad inches up a lot and looks at people when he drives, but i highly doubt he's out there looking for a race. :twocents: i know a lot of people who've done that.

I don't know if you've ever engaged in a race before, but those who have will understand what I'm saying. I mean, everyone inches forward at least once. Come on... Look, the guy inched forward, looked over at me to confirm that he wanted to run. And we did.

I like to inch forward on ricers so they take off like douche bags and then I just drive normal.

Everybody thinks I want to race because I drive an Si... meanwhile that bitch is slow.

I don't think he thought he were going to launch off the line like a badass or I'm sure he would have done the same.

He definitely wanted to get in front of me before the merge. I wanted to see what the turn out would be.

Why so serious?
Same thing kinda happened to me the other day when i pulled up next to a tsx. I got the feeling that he wanted to race, but i wasnt sure, so i didnt wanna take my chances and burn out for no reason. He kept looking at me, and he moved forward. So when the light turned green he took off lol. i was like "aw you bastard!"
