Thinking of rocking some XXR 531's 16x8 +20 on my GSR. Thoughts? Also, the recommended tire size?

That would look good...the tire size I would go with is 205/40/r16

doesnt need to go that narrow on a +20. 205/40 is fine.

Its not really narrow, friends car, the taller profile on the tire gives you more comfort

rolling fenders, yes. however, no need for more camber than stock for a 20 or 25 offset.

4dr gsr? Rare. Either of those 2 sizes is good and will be up to preference but i recommend 195/45/16 for the sidewall. Suits a 16" better. 40 is small imo but you can pull it off only with a slammed car. Fender roll and slight shave of the inner rear bumper where it meets the fender. The corner may rub on the tire. Whether you need additional negative camber or not could depend on how low you are or how flush you want the wheel with the fender of the car. I have 531 16" +20 dropped with no gap but no tuck either. Wheel sticks out slightly past the fender. I could deal with it as its not bad, drop it more or do camber.
