last time that fuse blew it was cus my cd player wires got exposed and i had to rewrap them....and i took the cd player out this time and the fuse still blew

I would highly recommend against putting higher rated fuses in. If they keep blowing then you most likely have a wire that is grounding out somewhere. Check everything for exposed wires that could be shorting

yea my problem was the cd player wire being exposed. try removing the deck's harness also? and dc2gs-r is right a higher rated fuse is a bad idea.

X3

That'll cause you a fire.

like G2teg said, check for a grounded wire. Something is shorting out and causing them to blow.

are the tail lights and dash on the same circuit?

you can, it's not suggested though. I think the safest way is to bypass the radiator fan switch. It's located next to the oil filter, just tape a wire across the two wires. another way, I dont recommend, is tap the radiator fan's hot wire to a switch then to the battery(this way you can control on off), or tap it to something that turns on at ignition.

Why do you want the fan to stay on all the time? If you are having coolant temp problems it would be alot better to address the problem properly

ok...then i guess ill do that...btu when i 1st baugth the car the fan was on all the time...but now its not...and they took out the radiator fan so the only thing that was coolin the engine was the a/c fan...but the car overheats when the car is idlin....but when its in gear its fine...what could it be?

that's your problem, no radiator fan. lol. Basically when you drive, wind pushing into the radiator is sufficient to keep it cool, but when idling it lacks the ability to cool itself. I had that problem, ended up being my coolant temperature sensor, and my radiator fan wasnt kicking in.

so i guess ima have to go get a radiator fan?i wonder why the took out the radiator fan and left the a/c 1 when the a/c or heat doesnt work at all...and then hooked up the a/c fan to cool down the radiator...people these days lol

Your ac fan will kick in when it feels your system getting too hot. Thats why its there.

They probably took it out cause it wouldn't turn off. I know its a common problem on early integras where the fan won't turn off... I guess if something doesn't work, just get rid of it, right...? lol

EDIT: Just read that it was in the 2nd gen forum... lol, so that would explain why it doesn't work. They probably had their battery die too many times over night and found out it was the fan not turning off.
