what it do people...i just purchased my DA a month ago and am having some issues....it has a B18b1 swap and last night after i got to where i was going and hung out for a while, i got in the car and started to drive off and it just cut off. no sputtering or any other issues when i started it. it fired up on the first try and when i started to drive off it did it again. after i started it for the third time it was fine......i did have a prob with the main relay soldering coming apart, but i repaired it and havent had an issue since. Besides that, whoever sis the swap they did a hack job and i was hoping that some one could help me re-route these vacume lines(has 2 white y fittings), they start from the solenoids on the fire wall and leads to the fp reg. and to the charcole canister and also let me know if this large hose coming from the charcole canister is supposed to be attached to the solenoid on the top of the obd1 motor....thanx for the help in advance.

When it cuts off, you need to be ready to check for both fuel and spark and go from there. You can get a spark plug light and a fuel pressure gauge from Harbor Freight for a few bucks each. Just from recent experience I'd guess fuel pump (since you've fixed your relay- been there, done that too), but that's only a guess because it's fresh in my mind. Do some diagnostics and whatever you do, don't start throwing parts at it until you're reasonably sure you have it figured out. Be sure to check codes before you do anything else (even if your CEL isn't lit). It WILL be aggravating (could even be something like a failing ignition switch) but with enough brain-churn you'll get it. Good luck with it.
