Hey guys new to CI. i recently did a b20 swap on my 93 integra da9 ls. the swap went pretty smooth but there were problems. when we got it running the aftermarket cat had been loaded with fuel so now on the interstate when i drop gears i get alot of smoke mostly from the cat but its alot of built up fuel im guessing. But the real probelm im having is the fact im only getting maybe 12-15 maybe mpg on the highway.

At first i had aftermarket fuel reg, injectors and rail. Since then i have changed all back to stock from my other car which is same make model and all also i changed over the ecu to see if it made any differences with it did very slightly but did not fix my problem completely with gas consumption. My next step will be to swap out the intake manifold from stock b18 to a skunk 2 manifold to see if there is a difference in anything.

Im sure there is something im leaving out but thats all i got for now. Any help or ideas would be more than appreciated.

Thanks.

Try setting your ignition timing to 16*. Helped my gas mileage a bit. Also do you have any cel?

liquid fuel pooling in the exhaust? Im not going to go into detail why thats impossible. lol

Whats the mpg with the STOCK FUEL SYSTEM installed?

Perhaps the smoke isnt fuel now but oil, or coolant.

Set your timing like Zack recommended and also do a compression test to make sure the engine is healthy.
