DA Build

Alright, So Im new to the forum, but no so new to that Honda world
I bought my first DA from a kid half way accrossed the state from me.
Nothing really done motor wise, Intake, HKS Catback and a port/polished head. But it did have a set of Eibach coil overs, Some kind of camber kit, and American Racing 2 piece wheels

Then Tragically I got rear ended by a truck one early snowy morning =(
Destroyed the car but a lot was salvagable

After a few months of searching and almost buying a volkswagon, I found another DA9. This time locally and the person was pretty easy about the price. He had it marked for $2200, But I talked him down to 2.
It was another LS DA with a tucked bay, AEM cold air intake, Stage 2 clutch, Single bend short throw shifter, Tien coil overs (Pretty much shot), and a set of SI wheels.
First day I had the car, I drove through down town and it over heated on find that there was a 3 inch tear in the heater hose. So after replacing in the middle of advanced auto parking lot. I drove it home and it was still running super warm. Come to find that my timing is out by some odd amount of teeth. I then replaced the timing belt and water pump. Over heating problem, Fixed. Then next what I thought to be a bad Tie Rod End, came out to be my steering rack going.
All in all its a good project. I will be replacing it and then starting body work/paint.

So yesterday I put the new manual rack in. It feels a million times better then the OEM power one with disconnected lines that was pretty well shot.
But ive seem to come to attention that my motor is just, gutless. I feel like there is no power behind it what so ever....
