Cylinder misfire on all 4 cylinders

I had this check engine for awhile now, but there was nothing wrong with the car cept the rpm kept wanting to go down to stall. Then a few days before, my car was stinking up the streets, smelled like something was burning from the bottom of the car. Then all of a sudden yesterday my car won't start, so I did the paperclip trick and the CEL codes were: 71,72,73,74. All cylinders misfiring. Anybody have any ideas what can be wrong?

i dont even want to go there. . . .. but i think you fried your motor dude. time for a nasty tune up and possible rebuild. good luck start with checking your spark plugs and dizzy. are you blowing white smoke out of the exhaust? if so blown head gasket as well.

No, theres no smoke at all coming out from my exhaust. If my engine is blown im screwed, i would rather just get the type R motor to replace but i dont got the money. I just don't get how my engine would blow up since i don't race it or anything. the only mod i have is an injen intake. oh well i'm going to have to check my spark plugs, what are good spark plugs for the teg?

Denso Iridums. You may also have a fried distributer. Id also check your timing.

my car is not turbo charged or anything so wouldn't it be a waste of money to get iridium?
Nope. That plug will last a LOOOOOOONNNNGGGG time. So they will actually work themselfs off if you would have been buying the normal ones.

check your distro and check your timing as chances are it could've jumped a teeth as well. if you're not blowing any smoke or anything at all. than your motor could still be fact good just jumped a timing.

but check your timing try advancing and retarding the distro and see what happens and if its still doing the same thing. check to see your distro is actually throwing out proper spark and than lastly pull the valve cover off and check to see if you've jumped a teeth on the timing belt.

I wouldn't put iridums in a boosted car anyway. They fire a littler more agressive and hot. They are good for N/A applications.

Check your timing. To smell gas when cranking? Make sure you are gettitng fuel as well
