So my left tire area has been making squeaking noises for about a month now. I looked at it today and it seems my the CV joints boot has cracked and spewed grease all over pretty much every break and wheel component. Now my question is, can i simply replace the boot and regrease the joint or should i replace the whole joint entirely? Thanks in advance! :)

Take the axle joint apart and if the bearing surfaces are nearly clean (as in without alot of cv grease on them) and you can see where the metal of the bearing has met with the joint walls then you need to just replace it all otherwise I'd replace the boot the same thing happened to me bout a month and a half ago and I was lucky enough to only have to replace the boot. good luck.

Too bad your not local, I have lifetime warranty axles through autozone for 90-93 tegs. Idk how they'd feel about using an out of state phone number to get a warranty replacement lol
