crx swap ??? HELP

hey guys this is my friend car, but he got a 89 crx si and wants to do a full jdm swap,
hes lookin at a b16b type r or b18c. what would be better and easy to do and easy to tune ?
thanks for your help and should he get it for TIGER JAPANESE AUTO OR WHERE ? ITS HIS FIRST TIME DOIN A SWAP.

both engines will be about the same to tune... they are VERY similar... if he wnats a real beast hell go with the b18c and tell him to be a real man and do the swap himself
