Hey CI
I have a 1990 Integra GS 4dr 5spd and just recently i went in to do an oil change and have the tranny level checked. They said it was running low and topped it off and everything seemed fine. Then as they were backing it out of the bay, oil started leaking out of the transmission area of the car. My first though was the rear main had blown out and said screw it and drove it home. Half way home (about 6 miles down the road) I got on the freeway and hit the throttle in 3rd gear. The engine revved up but I didn't gain speed but at soon as i lifted the tranny caught and the whole car lurched.
So my question is, is this product of a rear main seal that's blown or is it a transmission seal?
Depending on which one it is (or both idk) how extensive is the labor to fix it.
Thanks in advance,
Austin
