coolant reservoir empty, help!

the lens from my cluster doesnt move to hot.....and my coolant reservoir is draining bit by bit when i drive the car.. and also there is a white smoke coming out of my exhaust

radiator leak? bad thermostat?

worst case scenario is blown headgasket. check the head for leaks, along with leaks in the hoses, water pump, radiator, and like above said, take out and test the thermostat. and maybe test sensors and fuses for the temp gauge. good luck!

Check your oil. Is a milky color. Check your coolant and see if you can see a lot of oily residue in it. Then check your compression. You can rent a tester for 25 bucks at auto zone and you get it back when you take it back. You either ha e a cracked head blown head basket or cracked block. Good luck.

a blown head gasket is the problem of white smoke coming from your muffler.

Only reason for white smoke coming out of Exhaust is water getting into your cylinders most likely due to a crack in the headgasket. Did you overheat it recently? How fast do you lose water?

this is might help you figure out if your problem is a blown headgasket or not. one of these was the symptom in my car and i got the problem taken care of before it got worse.
