Coolant line?

alright, so i installed my cold air, now i have the hose that goes from the OEM intake to the breather for the motor, and it has this other line attatched next to it flowing, looks like a coolant line, my problem is that OEM hose is hanging there and looks stupid, what kind of hose can i pick up at advance auto or pep boys so i can connect the remaining coolant line and get rid of the extra hose.

disconnect that steel coolant line. cut a 1inch piece off of the steel line, use that piece to connect the 2 hoses. use hose clamps.

I replaced both the lines with one line. I don't have that metal piece on my car anymore. You can just go get the appropriate sized coolant line. Mine's just some spare rubber line I had laying around. I also took some extra vacuum line to loop things out of sight.

Very nice, i had picked up some vacuum hose, but i wasnt too sure on it, i think i'll do what j13 suggest, if its not long enough then i'll go the prozon route, does the actual inside of the hose need to have alot of room?

and it is a coolant line, am i correct?

The line that is NOT going to the valve cover/intake is indeed a coolant line, yes.
Make sure the inside diameter is the same as the one coming off it.
