i just dont under stand why it takes 20 min at least for my 93 to start to read any thing on the temp gauge. and earlyer while driving out of all things it stated to read colder and when i say colder i mean like right at the first line of the gauge. any ideas that might lead me on the right path. i eaven felt the radiator and pulled the cap it was just warm and did not even try to spit out at me. the car had been running for more then an hour keep in mind it should of been hot. pls and thank you

^ thermo stuck open.

Info like whether it happened out of the blue or some maintenance, repairs or upgrades were done recently can be important.

no its not purple. and could it have something to do with the heat block or core of some thing? and i also am having an issue with my heater blowing its like its stuck in the midd of some state. now i took the dash out a lil last night and only saw one cable coming in to the control to adjust were you want the hot air to flow.
