Converting the teg to OBD1?

what are the gains of converting my 91 teg to OBD1? i also have a GSR ecu laying around, should i swap it in?

There aern't any gains by itself. What OBD1 enables you to do is offer more options for aftermarket ECU tuning systems, and many of these systems are typically cheaper than OBD2 tuning systems. I have an OBD1 ECU stock and had it chipped:

I can reburn this chip as many times as I want. I use the Uberdata program but there are other like Crome, ect.

thats what i figured, if i were to tune it would be with greddy emanage ultimate. im pretty good using that software.

im looking into converting my shit too. i got OBD2 and cant find any tuning devices besides Greddy E manage

get the emanage...you will hate it, seriously. but give it time, once you get used to it you will like it. make sure you get the ultimate. you can usually find it for like less than $500, then get the harness for less than a $100...you will need a lap top too, so if you dont have one, find a used one.

Obd1 is always better cuz for one there's way less trouble codes that can set the notorious Check engine Light, well compared to obd2.

just found a guy about 30 miles from me thats selling an OBD0-OBD1 conversion harness for $70

i called him up and offered $50 if i picked it up. good deal or not?

I would say so. After shipping and handling getting it from some other place for a good deal cost ya bout the same

Hey guys I have a Mugen ls non vtec chip in my b18a (soon to be a b18b)

Can I use tuning software on this thing at all?..

Im not actually hitting 8500 no. I do what my engine tells me. And it says at 6800 Chaaaaaaaaaange geeeeearrsss!
