alright so i am an auto body guy and have trouble with internals...so here is what i need. i would like to build up my engine. i have heard something about putting b20 parts or other stock parts in my b18 and gaining power that way. could someone please clear this up. also i have headers/tanabe exhaust and a highflow cat/ intake and a few other goodies. i would like to get a bit more flow from the injectors. are there different ones i can use so i dont run lean. what are some other things that will make power for me i have not covered. i wanna stay NA for now

Your injectors flow well enough not to require an upgrade.

You will want to look into upgrading the valvetrain and putting in new camshafts if you want to make some more power. You would also want to look into boring the cylinders out and putting in higher compression pistons.

Check out Crower, Brian Crower and JG camshafts. Each of these companies make camshafts for non-vtec engines.

For swapping OEM parts, you can get a b20 P8R head. It has more agressive cams (slightly) and flows better than the other non-vtec bseries heads. You could probably accomplish the same thing with a port and polish though.

i would have to agree i have also heard using b16 pistons helps boost your compression as well

b16a pistons will fit on without machine work
itr needs to be machined and ctr is too agressive for the block and head
