Comptech actually made their own air filter cleaner and oiling kit. Not sure if you can still find it

I would use a cleaning kit designed for foam filters. Cotton filters (K&N, AEM, etc.) actually filter more than foam. Foam filters use a different oil to combat this and filter more particles. The oil for them is thicker and tackier.

When I ordered Comptech's filter cleaning/oiling kit from the website I bought my Icebox from, this same UNI kit is what they sent me: HERE
I'm pretty positive this UNI kit was Comptech's official brand they sold as their own cleaning kit. The box I have has a genuine Comptech part # sticker on top of it, the cleaning kit was Comptech part # 620-004.

You can't use K&N's cleaning kit on foam filters, it'll ruin the filter.

I have a brand new extra can of oil if you want to buy it, it's a 5.5 OZ can, same as in that Ebay pic.
