cold intake for DA teg

Im wanting to get a cold air intake for my 90 LS. the only thing is that im hesitant about getting one because they can suck up water and seize the engine if it gets enough in there. any ideas to stop that. i know there are things that go between the manifold and intake and take the water and put it out through it but i dont know what they are called. :???:

Get a short Ram intake and call it a day make sure its installed right and u have your filter on.

i got the AEM V2 CAI and it works great. I've never had any problem and I have driven in heavy/moderate rainfall

i bought the aem cold air intake with the bypass valve. it's a little scary cause you gotta cut the c.a.i. tubing and take out about two inches but it stops water from getting sucked up. check this site out. http://www.modified.com/tech/0104scc_aem_air_bypass_valve/index.html

Your DA would have to be in more that a foot in water to suffer from hydrolocking.
