What's up club integra members?
Last year I bought a 99 LS coupe, and now that I'm out of school and I have a job I'm looking to start putting some more power into the car. I'm probably just going to stay with the motor instead of a turbo upgrade dispite what some critics might say.
Anyway, 2 weeks ago I had a AEM cold air intake installed and I can already feel and hear a difference in the car which is great. But what I'm unsure about is that there seems to be this whistling comeing from the right side of the car where the intake is. It goes beyond the intial sound that you hear as the intake is pulling in air when you accelerate. It seems to occur when you press the pedal down only slightly and not to the floor as if you were accelerating on a highway. I have checked and rechecked to make sure that all hoses and/or connections are tight, and I have a feeling that the reason there is this whistling is the intake cone's close proximity to the bumper and what not.
I've never had a cold air intake before, so is this the norm or is there something that can be done about it.
P.S. sorry for the long description, but I just thought I would be thorough.
