Coin tray fall out?

Is it just me or does everyone's coin tray fall out everytime you shift harder than usuall into 2nd or 4th gear? It's almost like theres no clip holding it in there. Always Fu*king hits my hand hella hard after shifting into 2nd! :smokin:

Most of the time I gota go buy a soda can so it blocks the coin tray. :???:

are you talking about the ash tray? if thats the case i guess your messing a retainer clip... my ash tray doesnt come out unless i PULL on it... no matter how hard i shift... oh, and if your shifting hard enough for this to happen often enough to become a neusance, you car isnt going to last very long...

LoL! And no not the ash tray. The coin tray. It just falls out hella easily. I don't really need to shift that hard. It just falls out REALLY easily.

The thing your calling a coin tray I believe is really the ash tray. My radio used to fall out when I slammed it into second but my car is so slow now it dosn't.

I think its just you.. your tray is not fully secured to happen often! even when your driving it normal and its falling out.. its loose.. its jus slipped in there, not held on by anything.. not even a screw.. go get a screw and screw it in!!

Do you mean the whole assembly including the cigarette lighter(thats how you know its an ashtray) comes out? Or the tray just slides out? Because if the whole thing falls out then you're missing a retaining clip/screw, like said before. It should be easy to rig something up to hold it in.
