clutch issues again

ok on valintines day i went out with my gf driving around then i brought her home and on the highway a mercerdes pulled up and i reved up my engine to see if he wanted to play and i heard him rev it up so when the light turned green we took off i was surprised i kept up with him doing about 165km/h the next set of lights turned red so i put the car in nutural and glided to the intersection and after i stopped i put it in 1st and i heard a clunk noise right away i started swearing cause i knew something went with the clutch and the car wouldn't move. when i push the clutch in it feels wierd 1st time i blew the clutch you can feel that there was nothing there right now when i push it in it feels rough almost like a sticky feelin. did the clutch go again or is it something else the tranny is fine still. if its the clutch how much is it for a performance clutch a heavier duty clutch.

it sounds like your clutch disc exploded, how hard did you launch at the light? clutches can go from $200-$500 bucks, you get what you pay for and i wouldn't go cheap on a clutch but make sure you get a whole kit from one company

i didn't start off hard and i didn't dump the clutch took off bout 3 grand then i flored it and took off

more feels like its grinding when i push the clutch in best way to decribe it

its mostl likely a throw-out bearing gone bad if its grinding when you push it in

wouldn't be bad to just replace the clutch also at this time, how many miles are on it?
