06 Type S with TEIN S TECH springs. The rest of the suspension is stock. From the first day I lowered the car, I started hearing a clunking sound / noise in the front passenger side (right side) when I drive over a sewer, a hole, a crack or a bump CLUK CLUK !! 2 days after it started on the left side also but not as often. I changed my stab links but that was not it. Could it be the sway bar bushings? Or my shocks!! Thanks ahead!

stock shocks? could be blown shocks or ball joint. jack up the car an check it out if you can jiggle the wheel side to side an it makes noise ball joints. check the shocks for oil. hope this helps!

The ball joint was checked and it's OK, also all 4 stab links were changer, the two front sway bar bushings also! Probably the shocks bottoming out!!!I'll try and have them checked today.

So I've got buddy club race headers, but there is almost no clearance between the sway bar and headers so when I hit a bump the right way it knocks the headers, pretty annoying sound, does anyone know of any sway bars that would givethe proper clearance? Got an rsx s

if your hearing this while driving over cracks bumps etc. obvisously its suspension related. but i would def check sway bar links. just had 06 in the shop this past week with your same issue and the car is to new for failure of stronger suspension components. sway bar links are like the weakest link in the group and they will probably fail first. since car is slammed u need to start up grading surround suspension components to compensate for lower springs and struts. they could have also threw on lower springs right over stock or blow struts. but that is more like a bang over a pothole or really big bump at descent speed. 757 Automotive Specialist.
