Hows it going everyone. Im sure everybody reading this knows about the chips they have that you put in your car and they supposedly increase mpg and hp. What i want to know is do the chips actually work? Does anyone have one in their car and if so how does it work? Thanks and take it easy.

Yes they work.. but you want to buy a WELL KNOWN BRAND and better yet a DYNO TESTED brand..

Granted this is speaking from experience on a NON-INTEGRA

Yolo Whippin'
Hondata
Chrome
Neptune
Mugen
Spoon

are all good chips. I dont know about fuel economy but they will do wonders for power. You have to do dyno tune and they soder them into the ecu. and they tune everything to run at peak performance

I think your asking about the generic chips like those on Ebay for like $20. They are a waste of money. You need a chip that is programmed to you own car, you need to install the chip, then get your car on a dyno with a wideband O2 sensor getting readings from your exhaust and get it programmed right. You're way more likely to get worse gas mileage and less HP than the opposite if you put in a generically preprogrammed chip.
