Any kind of boost that is cheap will blow your car up. The safest cheapest way to get more power out of your car is a 75 shot of nitrious.

whats cheap is not reliable. what is reliable is not cheap.

check tuner toyz i think they have a forged mani kit for like 800 bucks if i recall correctly.

I'm spending 2500 on a complete engine rebuild and a tune.... and its going to be reliable... they're all good parts.

for a good kit peiced togethig yuor self with tuning and obd1 conversion i would say in the 2300-2800 range.
also cheap kit will not exactly blow yuo motor bur they will not last for a shit and it would be a waste of money

thats what im currently working on. im not even sure i still have a clutch in there at this point lol :roll:

it only took a handfull of pulls before the clutch started to disagree with boost.

if youre worried about money... you should probably reconsider going with any kind of boost. in fact at that point you should almost reconsider modding a car. :what:

nitrous. if you want to be cheap and go fast, get nitrous. IT IS THE BEST DOLLAR PER HP MOD. PERIOD. for like 800 bucks you can have the pimpest wet kit with all the bells and whistles. and nx has a fuel rail kit for liek 1050.

ya im looking at $4k + for all the shit i want just to boost it...new ecu, harness, fuel management, turbo kit, clutch, plus if you dont install and tune yourself (which is me) lol

EDIT: oh yea and 3inch custom exhaust to go with the 3in downpipe
