I think that guy will puss out, or turn off the road when he hears that vtec. I dont think i would classify this as bench racing, because it will probably happen.

What year is his car? Is it even a standard? I looked up that 1995 and 1997 Paseo's have 1.5L engines. 95's are 100HP, 97's are 93HP. It'll be like racing a 88-91 Civic, except I think those Civic's at least weighs less than Paseo's, hehehe. You'll need a wide angle lens to keep both cars in the shot if you decide to film it. Trash talking dummy.

I think it's obvious I'm talking about a stock/lightly modded Civic, because I highly doubt this Paseo has anything done to it past an intake and exhaust. Mustang kills are always good to hear about, though! :D

meh ... it was like a 95 v6 auto which i hear are hella slow ... and all i had was sohc zc, sri, high flow cat, and exhaust, and i was still running the DX dpfi so i probably wasnt pushing much more than the stock lx motor would have.

nah there was a sohc zc.

4th generation civics had 2 versions of fuel injection. One was dpfi which was dual point fuel injection, which was basically a glorified carburateor, and the EX 4 door or CRX / HATCH SI had multi point fuel injection or MPFI.

The difference was significant, people who put MPFI onto their dx's would usually drop close to a full second off the 1/4 mile and close to a 20 hp gain

No, all ZCs weren't DOHC, some were SOHC. DPFI is "dual port fuel injected".

Edit: Sorry, Melt already said it. :p

Oh yeah, my buddy did that to his 4G beater Civic. I wasn't sure what he was talking about when he told me what he did to his fuel injectors, he said it made all this power though.
