CF Rear Hatch Feedback?

Anyone with carbon fiber rear hatches have any issues with them like leaking, cracking, bad fitment and so on?

I'm looking at getting either the Vis or Seibon CF hatch but wanted to get some feedback before dropping $700+ on it. Thanks

fitment is horrible...all companys...dont waste your money.

i think they look kinda ricey too... i just think unless you have a white car with a CF hood and CF roof then dont do the trunk... PANDA FTMFW i wish mine was white just so i could do the panda... but i wouldnt watse mney on it, its not gonna lighten up the car that much.

I don't want to do it for looks. I want to do it for less weight. It would probably get painted anyways. Even a few lbs less is good for me.

flex-a-lite makes a molded plastic window to replace the hatch glass which would probably save you a bit of weight also.

I do like the panda teggy idea too.

I'm not rushing out to buy anything, but I will set the $ aside for a hatch and if I decide to get one I'll let you all know how it works out.

I was going to do a cf hood on a awd talon that I had bc I bought it with a messed up hood and my dad has a friend that runs a body shop and he said that all that carbon fiber stuff doesn't line up very well.
