carpet everywhere!

i need help finding a kind of fabric i can wrap my dash and console....pretty much everything but bezels in that will match my carpet.i think im going to go all red,like a type r red.i seen a da on either here or g2ic.com with a covered dash and doors but i cant find it now.i know carpet is to thick,although i want something that will look like carpet,but maybe thinner or smoother.i wont know until i look at a few different materials,but i thought i should ask to maybe find someone that has done this or knows someone that has.i need to be pointed in the right direction.i would prefer something easier to handle then carpet so i can get it flush.any ideas?

check your local fabric store. id just use headliner fabric. its thicker than regular fabric but not carpet thick. they also make those precut carpet dash overlays on ebay.
