carbon fiber hood

my carbon fiber hood has turned white in spots. buffing has not helped, any ideas? thanks.

try wet sanding with a high grit and use polisher and wax and just buff the crap out of it... i heard that can work well

thanks, the sanding helped a bunch, not a easy job, but it sounds like i should paint it white.

if you sanded it and want to keep it carbon fiber put some clear coat over where you sanded... Carbon fiber comes with a clear coat on it, right?
