Car won't start

Ok so i ran outa gas:smackself but i go get 4 gallons put it in and try in start it a few times and it wont start, i tried push starting it nothing. Tried the next day and it still wont start. I took off the valve on the fuel rail and it wont spray any gas when key is on. Any ideas willl help

some times where u run out of gas ur fuel pump will over heat and stop running or it can also suck up dirt and grime that floats in the tank and clog it up. the fuel in the tank is what keeps the fuel pump cool so no gas means it wont stay cool. iff u run ur car on E all the time then its constantly staying hot. prob need a fuel pump.
