Car wont start cause of alarm

Yesterday my car wouldnt start after the mechanic had checked it out,
there was no power to the starter so it wasnt the starter but the car did start if jump started but the battery was fine all interior lights on . Today mechanic said the had to remove alarm system cause it was not allowing car to start. The alarm was an after market one . just wondering if any of ya been through this

mulitpule times, i cant remember how may systems i pulled out when i worked at the car lot, now when i get 1 in that dont crank thats the first thing i check.
