Not sure if this is the right forum to post in but here goes.

so here's the story. A friend of mines and I wired in a toggle switch into the main relay black wire and it worked fine. We tested it a couple of times and it worked fine. But after we came back from eating, I tried to start it and it wouldn't start no more. It cranks fine (just like when the kill switch is toggled on, just won't start anymore when i flip both on and off). Checked connections.. looks fine. Even took out the switch and connected the wires together and didn't work. Any ideas? :/

Well got the switch to work But I've encountered another problem..

When the car idles, the idles fine, but then like a minute later the car starts shaking and the check engine light starts flashing and then becomes solid, and repeats over and over. Also, when I'm revving to like 3000rpm in 1st gear or 2nd gear my exhaust pops like a crazy (NEVER done this before the kill switch install).. I don't know what else to do? And it SMELLS like gas now from the exhaust. I'm thinking maybe the car isn't getting enough gas from the fuel pump, so there must be something wrong with the kill switch wiring. I've checked all the connections and it looks good. Also tried just taking out the kill switch and wiring up the kill switch wires but it's still doing the same thing. Help please!!!

Could it be the gauge of wire i'm using or the kill switch im using? I think i'm using a 18 gauge of wire. Kill switch seems to not be the problem since i tried wiring the kill switch wires and still does the same thing.
